New here? Start with Sunday.

Marathon Church gathers in Powdersville and Greenville, South Carolina, and online every weekend. This page maps a first visit: arrival, kids environments, and what we suggest after week one.

Your first Sunday, spelled out

Services run on a steady clock: music, teaching, and response moments you can join at your own pace. Parking teams, guest hosts, and kids leaders know how to spot a first-time face and point you where you need to go.

For maps, times, and the exact doors to use, start with Plan your visit. To sample the teaching style first, open recent messages or join online campus the same hour our campuses meet.

Guest seating in Marathon Church auditorium

Three things guests tell us they wish they knew earlier

  1. Arrive ten to fifteen minutes early. That window is when hosts can introduce kids environments and still get you seated before the opener starts.
  2. Kids check-in is built for first-timers. Leaders can print tags, note allergies, and walk you to the right room. Read more under Kids ministry before you pack the diaper bag.
  3. We will not put first-time guests on stage. You can fill out a digital connect card if you want prayer or follow-up, but you will not be asked to stand and introduce yourself to the whole room.

Want to talk with a campus contact before you show up? Use Contact us and note that you are planning your first visit.

After week one: a clear next step

When you are ready to hear the story behind Marathon, meet leaders, and learn how teams operate, join Life Track. It is a paced class, not a pressure pitch, and you can ask campus staff which weekend session fits your location.

Quick answers

  • Bringing teens? Student environments mirror the adult service times listed on the visit page.
  • Need assistive listening or reserved seating? Mention it in connect notes or ask the host at the door so production can patch you in quietly.
  • Traveling from out of town? Saturday evening rhythms vary, so double-check church calendar for holiday or special-event schedules.
